Readymade Ontologies

I'd like to mine the livejournal database for commonly-used "Memories" category names. A readymade ontology for "blog entries". Imagine cross-referencing that. And then cross-referencing it with furl.net, which has a similar dataset. etc, etc.

i've often wondered why there weren't standard names for memory categories (as well as allowing users to add in custom ones) - just like for interests. *checks out furl.net*
