Signed the divorce papers not too long ago; that'll all be done with soon. Today, I took "write thank-you notes for wedding" off of my to-do list.

Yes, that's a to-do item from five years ago. I have some very dusty items on my to-do lists.

fair enough.

I'm also re-entrant and swappable, and I don't mind variants.
Don't typecast me as an abstract base class, but my member functions are pure.

I've made the mistake of saying "I offer my consolations on your divorce" to someone who was very happy about it. And offering "congratulations" just seems inappropriate (though it might be appropriate). So I always offer both. That way, I can be socially inappropriate from both ends. :)
