Working on a (legacy) Java Server Pages website for a small client, again.
I should know better.

Why, why, oh why does Java insist that I write a 500-word essay on
whatIDidWithMySummer() just to get at some data? setters and getters and
private strings, myAss!

There's only, like, 12 bits of entropy in this entire class file, the
entirety of which is already implied by the properly structured database
table it is referencing!

I've used twisted (Python) and Rails (Ruby) to work on web apps. In that context (MVCish frameworks), they feel almost identical, *except* it takes more repeated keywords to do stuff in Python. Ruby winth for now, on accounth of being more like Lisp.
