On being well-lit
This comment made me laugh, because I agree strongly, but I have to explain why: some friends and I have a running joke/reference that relates. Watching a movie with a very, very attractive character, with (yes) excellent lighting and the camera lingering over them slowly... it was impossible not to be impressed, and a male viewer felt compelled to comment in admiration... but had some cognitive dissonance over the fact that the character was also male. "Wow," he said, staring at the screen. "... he's really... (pause) ... well-lit."
So now, when we want to communicate the idea that whoa, someone is looking really over-the-top attractive and like living art, we say, "my, she's very... well-lit."
