My review of Ultraviolet:
(starring a blurry Milla Jovovich as Uma Thurman)

Escaped experimental subject avenges unborn child by assassinating entire Mormon Church, except everyone has guns *and* swords.

Trip
- At one point the bad guy actually taunts Violet by saying, "what is this, some kind of [summarizes plot of movie]? That makes no sense!"

I neglected to mention that the overall experience was quite enjoyable because I was accompanied by my wonderful girlfriend.

I hate to be predictable, but as usual, flattery will get you everywhere.

I really didn't get the Morman vibe, though. But I will allow for a general religious reference - especially given the crosses and vamps, excluding those who differ genetically, and a sense blind righteousness in general. Poor Milla, they didn't seem to give her anywhere to take her character. I kept wanting to see growth, but given that it is based on a comic book character, it may not work well to give a sense of conclusion. They probably want to keep the storyline going. Wait, first we'll need a storyline....
