Duplicates

So I've put in a procmail recipe that takes any duplicate emails (ones that appear on mupliple lists or are sent to me multiple times), and stores those in a separate folder. (Braver souls just have them deleted, but I'm still new to cooking with procmail.)

Recently I found myself reading that 'duplicates' folder. It's a way to look at only those messages that someone felt were important or of general enough interest to cross-post.

How industrious of you. I need to learn some of those things so I can be more computer self-sufficient. :)

That may be, but procmail recipes are a bit of an extreme sport in my book. Rather than "self-sufficiency", they fall under the category of "looking for trouble".
