What's up with all this rain?  Someone visiting from Portland and bring all the rain with them?

It's driving me nuts too. So far it hasn't been a factor in all the travelling to and from Austin I've been doing. We're getting all your after-rain here, which has prevented me from mowing the lawn for about a week and a half. Arrrgghhh!

weird rain... something like 15 days this month so far. It certainly is the rainiest summer in my recollection. My backyard is a bog. bleh.

i LOVE it!!!
i'm so glad for the rain!
it's the wettest i've ever seen austin. yay!!!
and it's not all in one week, it's not flooding terribly like in '98. so it's filling up the creeks and the aquafir and the watersheds. it's great.
i wish it were like this every summer.
but i'm weird, that's been established.

They (who ARE they?) said about a week ago that the Houston area was about to reach the average rainfall for the year, now, in June. I think it has rained every day this month. Sometimes it is depressing, but most of the time it feels cozy. I work in the woods, so there's always some level of coziness as to, say, watching the rain sleek off the windows and concrete siding of an office building.
