I'm in Houston through the weekend. Almost all the family present for Thanksgiving dinner.

About to visit the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston with my siblings.

There it was, in all its blue-razzberry cake-frosting goodness. I wanted to lick it.

Is it on tour? I thought it lived in NY at MOMA.

The Heroic Century exhibit is organized by MOMA in NY. I hear it's going to Germany after January 4th.

The cover art for the exhibition is Roy Lichtenstein's Girl with Ball. You're not in the show, though. ;-)

I was in Houston today too, only not as stimulating a place as the museum.
We had pineapple upside-down cake for Thanksgiving dinner.

If you're still in town, give me a call. Star Pizza? Early evening, open-ended low-commitment, nice and public in case either of us is an ax murderer freakazoid. Plus the food is good.

Dammit, I left my axe in Huntsville.

I'm back in Lufkin, so I'll have to catch you on the flip side. I'll be in Austin sometime week after next with a girlfriend. Let me know where the freakazoids hang out.

Dammit, I left my axe in Huntsville.

"C'mere, I gotta axe you somethin'."

I'm back in Lufkin

Hmm, Lufkin. Always thought that was an odd name for a city, unless it's like the fluffy goosefeather pillow manufacturing capital of the world.

"Welcome to Lufkin, here's your bucket of marshmallow Peeps."

I'll have to catch you on the flip side.

You know not of what you speak! *Giggle* I can be found once yearly at Austin's Burning Flipside.

Let me know where the freakazoids hang out.

Tonight they're at a party in Houston, known as the "Houston Fall Freaktacular". I'm about to go there. Hmm, Lufkin's what, two hours away? Almost but not quite worth it for you to make the drive, probably. :)

Hour and a half. What kind of party? I just got finished reading this extremely clinical account of one man's experience at a 1966 nude party at Berkeley. He managed to make it sound unappealing. What a bad writer!
"Welcome to Lufkin, here's your bucket of marshmallow Peeps."
This made me laugh out loud.
I have always thought that Lufkin was an ugly name. Like an ugly plant. 'The Lufkin attracts grubs and termites with its sickly smell and puce-colored leaves.'
You know not of what you speak!
Very, very true. Unless I am speaking of certain novellas.

mashed potatoes. dick.

(Well, maybe not, but I couldn't resist making such a lovely three-word review.)

...and I'm late! Call me in 25 minutes and I'll tell you how much party is left.
