mood:
curious
So today I did heavy programming stuff in the X Window System (X Protocol Version 11) and SDL (particularly the event system) on Ubuntu Linux (in the GNU debugger), and some tinkering with development tools on Mac OS X 10.4.
I like my job. I get to do such random things.

On my own time, I've also successfully got signals from my new 3D Space Commander into the Torque Game Engine and world editor under Linux! Haven't put in the events code for it yet, but... we get signal! I'm going to do it up proper and tie it into the Action Maps for easy remapping in script, and publish it as a resource to the GG site.

It occurs to me that I have been off the face of the earth a bit too long. Any chance you'll have a moment free sometime this year?

free moment: I have been thinking similarly. Something on the order of "with a two-week lead time to get cheap plane tickets"?
:D
