posting these game night notices is starting to get me noticing the passage of time again. or something like it.

wow, if the passage of time is a place, then what has been written here is therefore a passage concerning the passage of time, and now that that is behind us we can mourn the passage of the passage of the passage of time

That's not confusing enough. Let's try it as free verse:

if the passage of time
is a place
then what has been written here
is a passage on the passage of time
and now that that is behind us
we can mourn
the passage of
the passage of
the passage of
time

(for a moment there I typo'd that as "massage of the passage of the passage of time", which sounds pretty good right about now)

there's more where that came from. ah, direction and motion, two of our deepest metaphors

Dunno why, but half of
Those “passage” appearances
Came through as “passive”

Free verse, not passive
Time in its passage moving
Through a thought

Passing the passage
One to the next, like a line
And yet it returns

Sharing a passage
In formless style beauty, but
Are haikus passé?

You're quite good at that whole "Through the Looking Glass" prose stylin'. Do you do James Joyce, too?

Yaay! Brian Eno! Thanks.

I'm rather fond of the stuff he did in collaboration with John Cale.
